If the Suns don't get Kevin Love in a trade, one backup plan for Suns fans was to sign Chris Bosh if he opts out of his contract with the HEAT. Bosh is a stretch four and plays quality defense at the PF position.
But he told ESPN the other day that he wants to stay in Miami.
In an interview with Dan Le Batard's ESPN Radio show in Miami on Tuesday, Bosh said he wants to stay with the Heat.
"I don't want to go anywhere. I like it here. It's Miami," Bosh said. "Everybody wants to come here. Yeah."
In response to whether he would take less money to stay, he replied "If that's what it takes. I'm serious."
So, Suns fans, you can cross Bosh off the list. The Suns would have had to get Bosh to sign for less than max to come to Phoenix. Sounds like he would stay in Miami for whatever it takes to sign a new contract, or he'll just opt in for his final two years.
