Seth wrote just an excellent on this over on the parent site, yet fledgling, SB Nation Arizona. I agree with everything he wrote 100%.

The biggest thing I got out of it was that Sarver wants what I want. He wants a "Gasol moment". And not in the 'screw the other team' fashion, but rather in the 'opportunity = preparation + luck' fashion.
