Barbosa Trade Proposal From Celtics

So here is the latest news via ESPN (Insider).

Apparently the Celtics are offering Rasheed Wallace for a Rondo back up. They are targeting Barbosa and Rudy Fernandez.

The idea would be that if Wallace is retiring then that team would get that cap space. His contract is for $6.32 million this year. Combined with the $2+ mil we have left, this could give us an opprtunity to go out and pick up another nice piece.

I think this is a good deal and Barbosa could thrive with Boston. They like to run more than most in the Eastern conference and they could use a another shooter, especially without Wallace.

What do you guys think? Players we could get for this may include at PF Udonis Haslem, Luis Scola, or maybe Al Harrington. Tony Allen, Corey Brewer, and Mike Miller could be available at the guard.
