The most valuable lessons one learns in life are often the most painful. And so maybe it will be that one day the Thunder will look back at their devastating collapse in the 4th quarter of game 4 at home Monday night as the painful but necessary lesson that eventually propelled them to a championship. For now though, it leaves them in a position that looks hopeless, as they will have to win the next three games against the Mavericks, two of them in Dallas, to win the Western Conference.
